JCNWR Nature Journaling and Malama (ages 12 & up)(Oahu)

Bring a sketchbook and art supplies, and join us at the intersection of art, writing, and science. We will spend the morning at JCNWR with the birds (including observing albatross during their mating season!), and learn about how sketching and writing can help us better connect and remember what we experience. No art or science experience required.
We will also give back to the ‘aina with some light restoration work, while also taking some time to draw and take notes about the native and invasive plant species, of course!
Space limited to 20 participants. Must follow bio-control protocol (bring only clean clothing/shoes/bags) and agree to arrive on time and stay for the full length of the event.
